DS1 - GDS MODELING 801: WEEK 15

Well, this has been probably the toughest semester I've experienced so far, and I've been at this MFA endeavor since 2011. The new job has been exceptionally challenging, and with several weeks of travel and a few technical issues along the way, I'm definitely not where I'd like to be at this point.

Getting the base models worked out this semester was a good piece of progress, and cutting my transpose teeth on this first composition has been nothing short of humbling! The biggest challenge I see going forward is really my lack of anatomical mastery. I've taken ecorche and organic modeling, but true mastery of morphology in extreme poses is not something one acquires in a single class. It's going to take some serious study. I've got my work cut out for me.

The critiques this semester have been very helpful. Hopefully I can make some more progress on the hard surface, cloth and hair components over the break.

Happy holidays and best to all moving toward the finish line.
