DS1 - GDS MODELING 801: WEEK 13

Starting to catch up... but much so still to do! Working on corrective sculpting for the Atlas character, fixing all the transpose ugliness from the initial posing process. Hopefully addressed the clavicle issue as noted last week, and starting to get the feel of twisted musculature in there, though still tons to do.

Goal for the coming week is to finish this figure, tweak the hands and limbs posing, get eyes subtool placed and block in hair and beard meshes.

INSTRUCTOR FEEDBACK

That looks a lot better. Considering how high the clavicle and shoulder are rotated up, the arm should be rotated to match that. Right now it seems like the shoulders are raised, but the arms are intentionally lowered down and it looks like an awkward position. The rest of the body looks good.

The left arm looks better. But, roll the shoulder and bicep up.

Legs look pretty good so far. Curve the upper thigh down as it reaches the pelvis.

The left foot will have to bend in order to have the leg rotate that much forward. I feel like he'd have a bit of a curve in his back, with his neck that far forward.
