DS1 - GDS MODELING 801: WEEK 8
LATE SUBMISSION - MODULE 8
I have no excuses to make, it is what it is in trying to balance 60+ hour work weeks and school. On the bright side, I am starting to catch up. Here is module 8's submission, better late than never.
After all the modifications to my male base mesh, I ran into a show-stopper re-projecting all the zbrush data back onto the new topology. The solution wasn't simple and required some re-sculpting, but by carefully masking the trouble areas and brushing back in the detail using the morph brush I was able to restore the model and then add detail to the newer, different areas. He's ready to pose I think now.

I finished cleaning up the female base model and pushed her into zbrush. She's got a ways to go detail-wise, but I got a good start on her sculpted forms:

Lastly I did some research into sculpted cloth. While I may utilize Marvelous Designer for some of my cloth forms, I really want a more 'classical' cloth look for the final pieces. As in traditional sculpture, cloth will need to serve some structural and compositional purposes, so more than likely I will need to hand-sculpt a fair bit of it.

INSTRUCTOR FEEDBACK
Looks much better. Glad you were able to solve the problem. Projections always have problems on folded over areas where geometry is too close to each other. The face is looking good. The eyes look a bit large though.
The overall anatomy is looking good. The corner of the pecs where they go under the deltoids looks a bit odd. Maybe thicken the edge of the pecs more. The serratus anterior looks like it is going into the lats under the arms. Separate them from each other more. Triceps should go up a little higher on the back of the arms.

The female is getting there too. I think you need to extend the pecs to the arms just like on the male, and bring the breast done just a bit more. And bring up the sacrum on the back a bit. The butt looks too short, from top to bottom.

I think a combination of marvelous and sculpting the forms to look sharper will give you the look you want. Watch the Zbrush summit video of Gurrella games:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WabkLpQNIyY They go over how they use a combo of marvelous and hand sculpting.
