DS1 - GDS MODELING 801: WEEK 7
Nothing of substance to show this week. I upgraded my system to 4r8 and started researching the new features (particularly the new manipulator gizmo that works with multiple subtools!) that should make my life easier.
After overhauling my base mesh recently I needed to push it back into my zbrush file. Hit some projection issues with that I'll have to deal with this week.
In the meantime, I set up the initial Atlas and Hercules rough reference to work against in zbrush.

Oh, those don't look good. Sometimes, doing two projections in a row solves the problem. Just try reprojecting again after the first projection. Zbrush does have a problem if geometry ends, rather then closing back on itself. Make sure the inner mouth, eyes, nostrils all close off or at least go back deep enough not to cause problems.
Mockup looks good so far. Poses are working.
