We lost our little girl Jade last Monday, April 23, at about 11am. She had been diagnosed with kidney failure, cause unknown, but after several days of not responding to treatment, her condition worsened and she passed away.
She was such a sweet and kind little girl, my "best pal." We buried her at far northwest corner, also the highest point on our property.
I had always planned to have a little seating area in this corner. It just needed a little retaining buildup and back fill:
I took Tuesday off from work and built Jade's garden using the keystone blocks I had left over from the side yard terracing project:
