HALLOWEEN GATE LANTERNS

Short weekend project: Solar pumpkin lanterns for the front gate pillars.

I found these glass pumpkins on sale at Michael's. They came with a single battery-operated candle light; for added effect I wanted to add some solar-powered fairy lights:

To add weight and stability to each, and to allow for mounting and wiring, I built bases out of some scrap wood:
