Finishing out the planting boxes. Laid some plastic to cover the brick foundations:

Two and a half hours and a gallon of stain later:

Final touches before adding the raised bed planting mix: add black plastic liner for side walls, fill the bottom sections with gravel to anchor the boxes, and secure wire mesh / landscape fabric bottom. Gopher-proof hopefully!
