Taking a break after so many weeks working on the Japanese Garden bench to just putter on a few smaller projects.
JAPANESE GARDEN FOUNTAIN
Cleaned up the bubbler fountain brother-in-law John gave me many moons ago. Salvaged some pieces of the neighbor's backyard fountain structure and re-painted for a base.
BISTRO LIGHTING ON THE DECK
Shored up the temporary bistro lighting situation on the back deck that was hanging too low. Built some new metal posts to attach to the porch roof and remounted the far end to riser on the new fence.
GARDEN HANGING PLANTERS REDUX
The hanging planters had gotten overgrown again and with Johnny constantly feeding the birds the straw had gotten picked apart again.
Found new cheap plastic ones at the depot and rebuilt all 4.
Much cleaner!
