The previous homeowner left behind a ton of old metal junk including this solid metal spindle with top pulley, part of an old metal lathe. Refinished the spindle with some black hammered spray enamel and added castors to the bottom (of course.) I was able to jerry-rig a lazy susan on top of the metal pulley using some spare hardware and then attach the 24" x 24" 1/2 inch square masonite top to that.
